Although I did not loss much (only a clown fish and a couple of frags) this event was enlightening to me. I don't think i deserve a new free system, that should be given to someone who was defeated by the storm, i want to share my story. After the lights pwent out around 4am, it was an all out scramble to keep my tanks running. I realized my truck had an inverter, so I ran an extension cord from my pick to my tank and plugged in a heater and powerhead. Tank got down to 66 degrees before I got the heater in. Tank was with out power for 30 hours. Thankfully the power came back on and only a clown fish and a few frags was lost. This event thought me that I need to purchase a generator for my home and tanks.
